New Course

We have just launched a brand new course on The Academy. Our 'Racism in Football' course is the second instalment of a 3 part series. Part 1: 'Race and Racism in the UK' is available on The Academy, and part 3 is coming soon.

Racism in Football

This course, developed in collaboration with Paul Campbell, Associate Professor of Race and Sport at the University of Leicester, explores the different forms of racism experienced in football, with a particular focus on those affecting black and South Asian communities. You will explore examples of overt racism, covert racism and structural racism, and consider how each influences experiences, opportunities and outcomes within the game.
